Group Classes
Caribbean Resorts do not usually offer their guests the amazing group classes found at BodyHoliday. Cardio-Vascular, Aerobic, Dance and Holistic exercise classes, are all included in your BodyHoliday. Classes are designed for all levels of ability. If you are in any doubt about which ones will suit you and your fitness level best, ask your BodyHoliday specialist.
Classes are held all over the resort in a variety of exciting locations: The state of the art Gym, Dance and Yoga studio, Tree Top platform, Spinning room, Yoga Deck on the water’s edge and the Boardwalk. A range of Water Aerobic exercise classes are held in the activities pool daily.
Cardio Vascular Classes
Cardio – A basic, mid-intensity step workout combined with lower-body conditioning exercises.
Step – A basic, mid-intensity step workout combined with lower-body conditioning exercises.
BoxFit – Combining martial arts and boxing movements to produce a natural stress and calorie-busting workout.
BeachFit – A challenging workout on the sand combining both cardiovascular and bodyweight resistance exercises to produce an allover body blitz!
Ease Into BeachFit is a much less intense version of our Beach Fitness class. It involves a combination of power walking, dynamic stretching, and bodyweight exercises. A great way to wake your body up and start the day.
Beginners BodySpin – A 30-minute introduction to indoor cycling. Arrive 5-10 minutes early so your instructor can set you up correctly on the bike.
BodySpin & BodySpin Max – A 40-minute (Body Spin) / 55-minute (Body Spin Max) indoor cycling experience. If you are new to indoor cycling, be warned – you may get hooked! BODYSPIN and BODYSPIN MAX are the ultimate calorie-burning rides; sign up for your first class today!
BodyHoliday Running Club – A choice of two runs. A 4.5-mile run that takes you to one of St. Lucia’s National Heritage sites – Pigeon Island. Or adventure over to the Atlantic side of the island over a slightly hilly 4 miles.
Conditioning Classes
Absolution – A workout designed to strengthen the abdominal core and lower back muscles, often in a circuit session.
On the Ball – Use the fit balls and other studio equipment to firm and tone up the core and the rest of the body.
AquaFit – A class that always guarantees to be full of fun. Splash your way to a great fitness level at any age. Also an ideal course for pregnant participants and people with joint injuries.
Beach Boot Camp – Old school circuit-style workout using tractor tyres, sandbags, and ropes. This functional training on the beach will challenge you in a completely different way from the gym.
BodyTone -A great chance to firm up the whole body using a combination and variety of weight-based exercises and studio equipment.
BodyCircuits – The Body Circuit combines cardiovascular and resistance stations to produce an all-over body session. Work at your level while challenging your weaknesses.
Legs, Bums and Tums – A 45 min class that targets the legs, glutes and abdominals will help you Strengthen and tone most of your popular body parts.
Pole Fitness – An ultimate full body workout, powering up one’s self-esteem and encouraging you to experience how to be stunningly intense and, at the same time, graceful like a dancer. The classes are suitable for all levels, ages and abilities.
DanceFit Studio
Caribbean DanceFit– Join the fun, carnival atmosphere and enjoy the lively, upbeat music whilst keeping your body moving and dancing. These dance moves will work your whole body to the exotic sounds of the Caribbean.
Jive -This class will have you hoppin’ and boppin’ to the Crocodile Rock, feeling Footloose, and shouting ‘Great Balls of Fire!’ With the primary step plus a few groovy moves, you’ll be twisting the night away in no time.
Salsa – With its origins in Cuba, hips will sway as you get a good workout. One of the world’s most popular social dances, Salsa is a perfect dance for tropical daytimes and evenings.
Street Dance – Funky moves and grooves on the music of Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and many more. All movements are easy to follow, energetic and fun. No experience necessary, just a whole heap of ‘coolness’!
Zumba -Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness party that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.

Julian Felix, Commonwealth Gold Medallist and Caribbean middle weight Body Building Champion, is our senior personal trainer at The BodyHoliday.
Our team of trainers will help motivate and encourage you to achieve results faster than you would on your own. No matter what your goals are or your current fitness level, our personal trainers will deliver fun and challenging goal-focused training sessions to get you started on your journey to optimal fitness.
A 30 minute personal training review is included in your holiday, with additional services as optional.

Put some oomph into your BodyHoliday and become one with the techniques to achieve boxing perfection. Learn the basics of the jab, cross and uppercut or take your skills up a level with elbows, body shots and finishers; once your punch packs enough power, a cardio-vascular routine will finish the session with a bang.

BodyAware Programme
The BodyAware programme is your guide to becoming the best version of yourself. You will learn how to manage and/or modify your nutritional and exercise choices through nutrition counselling, fitness testing, and education. BodyAware will also help you establish and prioritise your nutrition and fitness goals using a collaborative approach. If you need a little motivation to jumpstart your health and fitness or want to revamp an old routine, BodyAware is for you. Both 4 & 7 day options are offered and supervised by a personal trainer and lifestyle coach – Hiley Fulgence.

BodyStats
The BodyStats assessment is a comprehensive health-related fitness evaluation used to measure your physical fitness and assess your risk for chronic diseases such as diabetes and/or cardiovascular disease. You will be educated on your current health and fitness status regarding age-and gender-matched norms. Information gathered will be helpful in the development of your exercise program. The assessment includes some or all of the following:
- Resting heart rate and blood pressure
- Height, weight, and BMI
- Body composition
- Waist circumference
- Peak expiratory flow
- Functional movement screening
- Cardiorespiratory fitness
- Muscular strength
- Muscular endurance
- Flexibility

WellFit Trail
BodyHolidays Wellfit Trail offers another course for fitness. Meandering across the beach and up into the hills surrounding the resort, the one-mile trail is designed for every guest and any level of workout you desire. The course can be walked or hiked, or you can choose a more challenging route by running the trail and taking part in the activities set out along the way, which include a balance beam, parallel bars and cargo net, a tunnel and rope bridge, various exercise stations and a tyre run. Instructional plaques are sited on each piece of equipment with full instructions and diagrams.
